If Kaivalya Samra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bridport getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Abhraroha Roy hit a great ball. Abhraroha Roy scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caruhasan Ghoshal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kalaraja Kishore hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 19th play minutes Kaivalya Samra shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Caruhasan Ghoshal and just under the crossbar into goal. Davinder Ghuman hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Guruswamy Sahni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devila Biswas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bridport's Abhraroha Roy got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the HAMMER defense, Abhraroha Roy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caruhasan Ghoshal. The HAMMER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caruhasan Ghoshal should have stopped the shot. After 38 minutes, Kaivalya Samra made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. HAMMER's Caruhasan Ghoshal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. HAMMER's Caruhasan Ghoshal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damodaragoun Akhtar in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaivalya Samra in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caruhasan Ghoshal saved HAMMER from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atamas Dambria was the one to do the kick off. Kaivalya Samra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caruhasan Ghoshal having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Kaivalya Samra made a precise shot to the right of Caruhasan Ghoshal. HAMMER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Abhraroha Roy might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caruhasan Ghoshal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abhraroha Roy ran back to his position shaking his head. Kaivalya Samra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caruhasan Ghoshal having to interfere. When Avijnatagati Dambria fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HAMMER's protests and gave Avijnatagati Dambria a yellow card for diving instead. 69 minutes into the game, one of HAMMER:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Caruhasan Ghoshal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Caruhasan Ghoshal came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Bridport's Balangaka Subba. But to his dismay, Balangaka Subba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The supporters of HAMMER booed when Bridport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abhraroha Roy didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaivalya Samra in the 89th minute of play forced HAMMER's goalkeeper Caruhasan Ghoshal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikita Saveliev during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nikita Saveliev hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Kaivalya Samra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caruhasan Ghoshal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Bridport's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
