With a left leg Özbek Samet saved ΠΑΟΚ FC from getting behind. Ronaldão Mendonça hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Theofanis Klotsobounidas hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Scarafia Ghost, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zheng Yang Zhen in the 23rd minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Scarafia Ghost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
