Vaios Spetzopoulos made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Stavros Antzas sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the game, ARION F.C. Lesvos's Louis Stratakos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omiros Ntounos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Konstantinos Manikas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Vaios Spetzopoulos made a huge save. In the 23rd minute Kostas Menegakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omiros Ntounos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omiros Ntounos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lambros Vouzatos in the 28th minute of the match. Lesvos's Giannis Siamantouras shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Omiros Ntounos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ARION F.C. Lesvos reached it. ARION F.C. Lesvos's Louis Stratakos got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Theocharis Katsarolidis hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stavros Antzas in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vaios Spetzopoulos saved ARION F.C. Lesvos from getting behind. Omiros Ntounos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Menegakis in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Akis Xomeritakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omiros Ntounos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
