Spectators: 9195 (Terracing: 6898, Seating: 2114, VIP seats: 183) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sean Dekker took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Sean Dekker came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Purple Talents fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Dekker couldn't finish the play. After 6 minutes, Max Godet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blue Beast and the Purple Talents players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Max Godet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sean Dekker in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddy Huijgens saved Blue Beast from getting behind. The corner led Purple Talents's Yu Cheng Kang to fire away a dangerous shot which Eddy Huijgens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Sean Dekker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eddy Huijgens. Sean Dekker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Sean Dekker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eddy Huijgens made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Sean Dekker sent off a good shot on target. If Antonio Cempeners had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Purple Talents's Kaan Snow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Cempeners in the 28th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Purple Talents's corner Leo De Hond fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eddy Huijgens quite easily take care of the ball. Joey Verdun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaan Snow having to make a save. 38 minutes into the game, Joey Verdun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kaan Snow was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Yu Cheng Kang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purple Talents's supporters rose to their feet, but Yu Cheng Kang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddy Huijgens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Purple Talents's Kaan Snow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Cempeners in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Sean Dekker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purple Talents's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sean Dekker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Cempeners to strike the kick off in the second half. Eddy Huijgens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Dekker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sean Dekker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddy Huijgens having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Blue Beast's Klaus Colebrants got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Christoffer Lingren kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Tjorven Caspers missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 66 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Kaan Snow right hand side. Purple Talents's Victorino Lazcano was substituted for Sean Dekker. After 68 played minutes Blue Beast got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Colebrants. Klaus Colebrants made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Purple Talents's Josef Wortelers. Victorino Lazcano scored 3-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eddy Huijgens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Lazcano in the 83rd minute of play forced Blue Beast's goalkeeper Eddy Huijgens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Eddy Huijgens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Purple Talents's Yavuz Selim Sartık got a free kick in the 91st minute. A hard shot by Tjorven Caspers from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Kaan Snow's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Purple Talents's Yu Cheng Kang got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Purple Talents were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Blue Beast for a fine match.
