When Westbeke's Dominic Van de Loock in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Selección's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominic Van de Loock in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rein Bautmans saved La Selección from getting behind. In the 7thth minute of the game Dominic Van de Loock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Selección's Rein Bautmans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Dominic Van de Loock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rein Bautmans was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Lex Stoffels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rein Bautmans. La Selección's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lex Stoffels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 15th minute Dominic Van de Loock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rein Bautmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Louis Claevers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Rein Bautmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Martin De Smedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Selección's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Westbeke the free kick. In the 17th match minute, La Selección was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin De Smedt to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Westbeke booed when La Selección was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmond Schollens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loui Reijckmans hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Dominic Van de Loock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rein Bautmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Selección's zone, Lex Stoffels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rein Bautmans came out of the goal and Lex Stoffels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Westbeke's Dominic Van de Loock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rein Bautmans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Lex Stoffels made a precise shot to the right of Rein Bautmans. La Selección's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Rein Bautmans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominic Van de Loock's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Dominic Van de Loock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Selección's Rein Bautmans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Lex Stoffels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Rein Bautmans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rein Bautmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lex Stoffels in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Dominic Van de Loock left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westbeke fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Smidts made a kick off. Rein Bautmans was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Lex Stoffels capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lex Stoffels really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Dominic Van de Loock who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Rein Bautmans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Westbeke's Louis Claevers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rein Bautmans. Rein Bautmans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Rein Bautmans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominic Van de Loock went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Dominic Van de Loock received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rein Bautmans came out and tried to block the shot, but Dominic Van de Loock slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 66th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Lex Stoffels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westbeke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lex Stoffels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Dominic Van de Loock reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rein Bautmans. The goal made the score 0-12. Dominic Van de Loock who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Rein Bautmans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Lex Stoffels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dominic Van de Loock struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Rein Bautmans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westbeke. Rein Bautmans didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Westbeke's Dominic Van de Loock shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-13 in the ordered_time% minute. Dominic Van de Loocks short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Rein Bautmans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dominic Van de Loock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Rein Bautmans made a huge save. With a little luck, La Selección's Rein Bautmans got control of the ball when Dominic Van de Loock tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute, Bertrand Verhulst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Westbeke's Louis Claevers got a free kick in the 96th minute. Westbeke played a much better game than La Selección and deserved their victory. The La Selección players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
