Aston Birra's Manuel Gibert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel-Omar Bati in the 10th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Couto Mixto F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Felix Morales. Christopher Langford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Martínez in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Couto Mixto F.C. were awarded a corner. Honorato Feria went to the cornerflag to take it. Aristeo Campomanes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christopher Langford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Couto Mixto F.C.'s José Augusto Hoffmann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manuel Gibert. That made the score 1-1 after 94 minutes of play.
