With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Bolas in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Zawacki saved Meerkats FC from getting behind. After having played for 16 minutes, Kim Bolas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sliema Dragons FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Bolas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Meerkats FC defense, Kim Bolas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Zawacki. The Meerkats FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Zawacki should have stopped the shot. Pankracy Zawacki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Bolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Kim Bolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zawacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kim Bolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Zawacki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Meerkats FC's zone, Kim Bolas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Zawacki came out of the goal and Kim Bolas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the game, Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Zawacki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 44 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Zapolski. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kim Bolas made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Kim Bolas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meerkats FC's Pankracy Zawacki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 53rd minute, Aron Ghinescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mike Axisa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Pankracy Zawacki made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Kim Bolas sent off a good shot on target. Kim Bolas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pankracy Zawacki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Cupial in the 61st minute of the match. Sliema Dragons FC's attentive Gábor Illés managed to snatch the ball when Oliver Ahlroth made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Kim Bolas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Pankracy Zawacki made a huge save. In the 68th minute Kim Bolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zawacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Pankracy Zawacki throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kim Bolas in the 68thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Timmy Vallengren replaced Gábor Illés. Pankracy Zawacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selman Onkal, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute Sliema Dragons FC were awarded a corner. Leszek Cupial went to the cornerflag to take it. Meerkats FC's Pankracy Zawacki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Meerkats FC from getting a goal against them. Dejan Cassars short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Pankracy Zawacki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th match minute, Meerkats FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Ghinescu to maneuver through the defense. Dejan Cassar might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pankracy Zawacki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dejan Cassar ran back to his position shaking his head. Dejan Cassar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Pankracy Zawacki made a huge save.
