Landgraaf 07's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Caniggia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Landgraaf 07's Taco Timmermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Petroni in the 27th minute of play. Taco Timmermans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manfred Konradsson went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. João Augusto Mello hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Taco Timmermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Konradsson in the 39th minute of the match. When the match was over Lemel SV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Landgraaf 07 throughout the match.
