Spectators: 10936 (Terracing: 8203, Seating: 2515, VIP seats: 218) FC XY's Orhan Veli Mirac started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miroslav Motuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Soter in the 5th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes FC XY got a freekick which was hit by Orhan Veli Mirac. 12 minutes into the match, FC Kukova's goal looked a bit too open when Ján Krempašský came free, but Marek Horvát reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes FC Kukova got a freekick which was hit by Gregório Pimentel. Miroslav Motuz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Kňazovický in the 19th minute. A collision led to FC XY getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ivan Čižmár hit a great ball. Blas Soter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Miroslav Motuz made a huge save. Marek Horvát showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ján Krempašský, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute of the match, Blas Soter got a very nice opportunity to score, but Miroslav Motuz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 32nd minute Gregório Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Motuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marek Horvát showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Ižvolt in the 36th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Orhan Veli Mirac made a precise shot to the right of Marek Horvát. FC Kukova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Miroslav Motuz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blas Soter in the 46th minute. After 48 played minutes, FC Kukova's Gregório Pimentel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miroslav Motuz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Kukova reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blas Soter to make the kick off. Ján Krempašský took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marek Horvát. Marek Horvát dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to FC XY getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Martin Lukáč hit a great ball. The supporters of FC Kukova booed when FC XY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Lukáč didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marek Horvát made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Daniel Pavlovič sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Pavlovič hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Kňazovický in the 70th minute of play forced FC XY's goalkeeper Miroslav Motuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Pavlovič's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marek Horvát read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Pavlovič kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marek Horvát. That made the score 1-4 in the 75 minute of play. In the 78th minute Daniel Pavlovič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Horvát saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, FC Kukova's goalkeeper Marek Horvát had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Pavlovič. In the 92nd minute Blas Soter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Motuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Blas Soter notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of FC XY's Miroslav Motuz. Miroslav Motuz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The FC XY supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC XY would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
