Honorato Abancens was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Karol Lampa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Cooper having to interfere. Karol Lampa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Bruce Cooper made a huge save. Bruce Cooper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Lampa in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karol Lampa was the one to do the kick off. Gonzalo Otsoko scored 6-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruce Cooper, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chelsea Headhunters had won after a very even match.
