Alloa Golden Blades's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Zuasnabar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 32 minutes, Miguel Zuasnabar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gavião Kyikatejê's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Zuasnabar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Graeme Sharp came free, but Sitthachat Jampeehom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match Gavião Kyikatejê got a corner. Alloa Golden Blades's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gogo Oriol ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Gavião Kyikatejê's Gogo Oriol to fire away a dangerous shot which Bruce Cooper despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Miguel Zuasnabar scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruce Cooper, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the game, Miguel Zuasnabar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bruce Cooper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Graeme Sharp to make the kick off. In the 60thth minute of the game Jamie Federith who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamie Federith in the 66th minute of play. Sitthachat Jampeehom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Federith in the 68th minute of the match. Bruce Cooper was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Miguel Zuasnabar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel Zuasnabar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. The audience was convinced that Miguel Zuasnabar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruce Cooper was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 80 minutes into the match, Alloa Golden Blades's goalkeeper Bruce Cooper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Zuasnabar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sitthachat Jampeehom showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Alloa Golden Blades supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gavião Kyikatejê's performance. The match ended with a win for Gavião Kyikatejê.
