The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel de Barros got free with Mariusz Komornicki in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Basajaun notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carrapichel - FDFDF's Gildo Simões. Gildo Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Rogério Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrapichel - FDFDF's protests and gave Rogério Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Carrapichel - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gildo Simões came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Arnaldo Basajaun. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Basajaun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gildo Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Basajaun in the 21st minute of play. Arnaldo Basajaun took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gildo Simões. Gildo Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Gildo Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Basajaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Rogério Alcântara got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Rogério Alcântara off the ground. A collision led to Carrapichel - FDFDF getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rogério Alcântara hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Arnaldo Basajaun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gildo Simões made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Gildo Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Basajaun went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Allan de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Arnaldo Basajaun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 45 minutes into the match, Carrapichel - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Basajaun came free, but Gildo Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Basajaun was the one to do the kick off. Gildo Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Quan Di in the 53rd minute of play. Gildo Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arnaldo Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Basajaun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Gildo Simões made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Arnaldo Basajaun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. In the 66th minute, Arnaldo Basajaun made a precise shot to the right of Gildo Simões. Carrapichel - FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Arnaldo Basajaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gildo Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Basajaun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Gildo Simões made a huge save. Carrapichel - FDFDF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Yu Quan Di scored to the left of an out of position Gildo Simões, making the score, 0-10. Arnaldo Basajaun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Gildo Simões made a huge save. Acácio da Cunha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gildo Simões came out and tried to block the shot, but Acácio da Cunha slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel - FDFDF's David Fernandes got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Walmyr Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gildo Simões. Carrapichel - FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmyr Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Abel de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Carrapichel - FDFDF defense, Walmyr Loyola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gildo Simões. The Carrapichel - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gildo Simões should have stopped the shot. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Walmyr Loyola got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carrapichel - FDFDF throughout the match.
