Afonso Macedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Countdown FC. Leszek Miodek hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the BURRÃO DA CENTRAL defense, Ernani Valadares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Macedo. The BURRÃO DA CENTRAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Macedo should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Er Miner successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Er Miner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Gutierrez in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Washington Demartis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Washington Demartis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Macedo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 18th minute João Vítor Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Countdown FC's Washington Demartis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Macedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ebbe Hagbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Washington Demartis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Macedo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Demartis in the 26th minute of play forced BURRÃO DA CENTRAL's goalkeeper Afonso Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Saverio Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Er Miner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Er Miner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leszek Miodek's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Leszek Miodek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36thth minute of the game Duncan Patrick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Countdown FC's Er Miner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leszek Miodek to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, BURRÃO DA CENTRAL's Afonso Macedo got control of the ball when João Vítor Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Er Miner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Miodek, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Kaká Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Washington Demartis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Countdown FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. A collision led to BURRÃO DA CENTRAL getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Saverio Gutierrez hit a great ball. Afonso Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Barros in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute Countdown FC were awarded a corner. Diguinho Rezende went to the cornerflag to take it. Elói Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Simon Astudillo charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Astudillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Simon Astudillo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, BURRÃO DA CENTRAL's Nadav De Brasi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nadav De Brasi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BURRÃO DA CENTRAL protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nadav De Brasi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The Countdown FC fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Countdown FC's João Vítor Barros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The BURRÃO DA CENTRAL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Countdown FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
