Spectators: 7784 (Terracing: 5839, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 155) João Vítor Barros started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Miodek in the 3rd minute of play forced Countdown FC's goalkeeper Er Miner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute Saverio Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Er Miner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match, Adriano Cardozo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Afonso Macedo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 11 minutes into the match, BURRÃO DA CENTRAL's goalkeeper Afonso Macedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Washington Demartis. In the 12th minute, Countdown FC's João Vítor Barros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Afonso Macedo. Afonso Macedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 17 played minutes Countdown FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Valadares. Er Miner came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by BURRÃO DA CENTRAL's Duncan Patrick. But to his dismay, Duncan Patrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leszek Miodek in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Er Miner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonso Macedo made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Washington Demartis sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute Countdown FC were awarded a corner. Diguinho Rezende went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Edvaldo Reis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BURRÃO DA CENTRAL's Afonso Macedo did a great save. Afonso Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Demartis in the 36th minute. BURRÃO DA CENTRAL's Afonso Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Barros in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, BURRÃO DA CENTRAL's Kaká Sá got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Afonso Macedo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Adriano Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Leszek Miodek made the kick off in the second half. Washington Demartis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Macedo having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, BURRÃO DA CENTRAL's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Valadares came free, but Afonso Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Barros in the 55th minute of play forced BURRÃO DA CENTRAL's goalkeeper Afonso Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Countdown FC's goalkeeper Er Miner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leszek Miodek. Duncan Patrick hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Afonso Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Leonardo Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Demartis in the 64th minute of play forced BURRÃO DA CENTRAL's goalkeeper Afonso Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Macedo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Countdown FC's Washington Demartis. But to his dismay, Washington Demartis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Countdown FC's Válter Dante was substituted for Bebeto Pimenta. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, João Vítor Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Countdown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Vítor Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonso Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Barros in the 79th minute of play. Countdown FC's Er Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Miodek in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, João Vítor Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Countdown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Vítor Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. BURRÃO DA CENTRAL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Countdown FC the free kick. The supporters of Countdown FC booed when BURRÃO DA CENTRAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Washington Demartis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Macedo having to interfere. Elói Amaral hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. João Vítor Barros hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Countdown FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
