Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Woods to make the kick off. Tyrell Ackerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Sprague having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Legacy America's goalkeeper Walter Sprague had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyrell Ackerman. Despite being the better team, Legacy America failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
