E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Lucas Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Fonso in the 19th minute of play. Pepillo Servin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's Bruno Fonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Ibiza's Cacey 武磊 got a free kick in the 30th minute. Olivier Ancel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rene Higuita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pepillo Servin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® booed when Club Ibiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mambru Tarapiella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Fonso's late challenge caught a E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Fonso helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Club Ibiza got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Fonso. 48 minutes into the match, Pepillo Servin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Higuita. Club Ibiza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pepillo Servin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Fonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Club Ibiza's Xie Bin Wei was substituted for Cacey 武磊. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® made a substitution. Radamel-Falcao García replaced Olivier Ancel. Lucas Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denny Zuurman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match.
