The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th match minute, Leeds United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Olaverrieta to maneuver through the defense. When Timeteo Hernani came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the ATLETICO HUILA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timeteo Hernani couldn't finish the play. Frisco Solar hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Leeds United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Timeteo Hernani came free, but Akakios Kakavitsas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Akakios Kakavitsas managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when ATLETICO HUILA F.C's Enzo Gallardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 18th minute, Oto Iturbide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Leeds United FC's Eugeniusz Mondrowski got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ortzi Gustros got free with Akakios Kakavitsas in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute of the match ATLETICO HUILA F.C got a corner. Leeds United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ortzi Gustros ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 23rd match minute, ATLETICO HUILA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ortzi Gustros to maneuver through the defense. Beltza Morell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobald Brack in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Leeds United FC were awarded a corner. Berart Estebanez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Leeds United FC's Gabriel Olaverrieta to fire away a dangerous shot which Beltza Morell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of ATLETICO HUILA F.C booed when Leeds United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frisco Solar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, ATLETICO HUILA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Olaverrieta came free, but Beltza Morell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beltza Morell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Olaverrieta in the 38th minute of play. Oto Iturbide kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, ATLETICO HUILA F.C's Akakios Kakavitsas threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bilbo Frecha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timeteo Hernani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timeteo Hernani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akakios Kakavitsas having to interfere. Teobald Brack struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Beltza Morell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leeds United FC. In the 69th minute Elvio Lin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akakios Kakavitsas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akakios Kakavitsas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timeteo Hernani in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Gallardo in the 76th minute of play forced Leeds United FC's goalkeeper Akakios Kakavitsas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Leeds United FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Donato Villarmea hit a great ball. In the 81st minute of the match Ortzi Gustros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Akakios Kakavitsas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Beltza Morell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Olaverrieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Timeteo Hernani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akakios Kakavitsas having to interfere. If Timeteo Hernani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ATLETICO HUILA F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
