Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thor Asplund to make the kick off. The fodase fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Arósio should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Asplund in the 69th minute of play forced fodase fc's goalkeeper Maurício Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Olavo Saraiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vítor Abraão was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Raiders SC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over fodase fc's much stronger midfield.
