The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes in the game, Perivaldo Mangueira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Radu Moarcăș having to interfere. Mané Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Britto in the 9th minute of play. If André Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerson Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mané Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brasília Seahawks's attentive Cacá Maranhense managed to snatch the ball when José Carlos Leme made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s Mané Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Dias in the 18th minute of play. Délio Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Pereira having to interfere. Mané Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Dias in the 20th minute of the match. Mané Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Délio Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s Mané Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Britto in the 26th minute of play. Mané Pereira came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Brasília Seahawks's André Dias. But to his dismay, André Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Dias in the 36th minute of play forced Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Mané Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s zone, Délio Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Pereira came out of the goal and Délio Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mané Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Délio Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, André Dias notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s Mané Pereira. Mané Pereira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Délio Britto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mané Pereira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Perivaldo Mangueira to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Dias got free with Mané Pereira in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, André Dias made a precise shot to the right of Mané Pereira. Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Mané Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. André Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Mané Pereira made a huge save. In the 65th minute Délio Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Mané Pereira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mané Pereira was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and André Dias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. André Dias really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Perivaldo Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Perivaldo Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Moarcăș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerson Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Délio Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Pereira having to interfere. Mané Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Dias in the 78th minute. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
