Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Atauba EC's Cacá Pombal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlinhos Freitas came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Batateiros Sport Club's Caco Travassos. But to his dismay, Caco Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Caco Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Freitas having to interfere. Cacá Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atauba EC's Carlinhos Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Paraense in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Atauba EC's Luisinho Loureiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luisinho Loureiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atauba EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luisinho Loureiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atauba EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Roger Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlinhos Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magno Paraense's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Caco Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Carlinhos Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caio Maciel hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Roger Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magno Paraense to strike the kick off in the second half. Caio Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Vicente Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes, Moisés Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Batateiros Sport Club and the Atauba EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Moisés Godoi hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Carlinhos Freitas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caco Travassos went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Carlinhos Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
