Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cacá Pombal started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Cesinha da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12th play minutes Délio Britto shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Carlinhos Freitas and just under the crossbar into goal. Luís Fábio Linhares hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Brasília Seahawks's Radu Moarcăș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Brasília Seahawks from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Atauba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Britto came free, but Carlinhos Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Délio Britto sped through Atauba EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlinhos Freitas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio Britto in the 35th minute of play forced Atauba EC's goalkeeper Carlinhos Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Moarcăș having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Roger Salles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Radu Moarcăș. That made the score 1-2 in the 39 minute of play. Brasília Seahawks's Délio Britto got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Délio Britto in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlinhos Freitas saved Atauba EC from getting behind. 48 minutes into the match, Brasília Seahawks's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Pombal came free, but Radu Moarcăș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Dias made a kick off. Brasília Seahawks's André Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cacá Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Brasília Seahawks's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Pombal came free, but Radu Moarcăș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Alfredinho da Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atauba EC and the Brasília Seahawks players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Délio Britto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlinhos Freitas was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Délio Britto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Délio Britto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After 74 played minutes Brasília Seahawks got a freekick which was hit by Nico Brasil. Délio Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Freitas having to interfere. Róbson de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Luís Fábio Linhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brasília Seahawks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atauba EC the free kick. Luís Fábio Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Délio Britto sped through Atauba EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlinhos Freitas. Although Atauba EC had been in control for most of the match, Brasília Seahawks still came away with the win.
