Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sport Clube Bueno's Fausto Dias started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edmílson Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Freitas having to interfere. After 6th play minutes Fausto Dias shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Carlinhos Freitas and just under the crossbar into goal. Joaquim Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Oséas Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oséas Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Carlinhos Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Fausto Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos Freitas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Joaquim Breckenfeld was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. Cesinha da Silveira hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Oséas Miranda struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Carlinhos Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Clube Bueno. Oséas Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cacá Pombal was the one to do the kick off. Sport Clube Bueno's Pedro Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Pombal in the 52nd minute of play. Edmílson Machado scored 1-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlinhos Freitas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd match minute, Sport Clube Bueno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Sport Clube Bueno's Pedro Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson de Godoi in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Sport Clube Bueno booed when Atauba EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmílson Machado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlinhos Freitas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Oséas Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Carlinhos Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, Atauba EC's Carlinhos Freitas got control of the ball when Oséas Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Atauba EC's Róbson de Godoi made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Edmílson Machado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlinhos Freitas. The goal made the score 2-4. Fausto Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Sport Clube Bueno players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
